Abstract Submissions

We're recruiting for speakers to present at Eurocoke Summit 2026 later this year. If you would like to speak on any of the below themes, or another topic that you feel is of interest related to the met coke, coal and steel industries, we want to hear from you! 

• Local and global outlook for coal, coke and steel markets in a decarbonising world
• Impact of CBAM, ETS and climate policy on coke, coal and steel trade
• Biocoke, biocarbon and alternative reductants: trials, scale up and performance
• New process technologies and digitalisation to improve coke production and utilisation
• Plant operation strategy and best practice in a carbon constrained environment
• Cost optimisation in lower utilisation plants, including energy, maintenance and emissions
• Supply, demand and trade flow shifts for met coal and coke to 2030
• Sustainability, circularity and by product valorisation in cokemaking
• Cokemaking operations, oven life extension, repair and outage planning
• Regional discrepancies in regulation, cost and investment: Europe versus the rest of the world
• Coke plant closures, conversions and site repurposing in the net zero transition
