For more than 25 years, VEROLINE® PI  technology has been positioning and identifying hundreds of coke oven machines and thousands of coke ovens around the world. With nearly 15 years of experience in various sectors of activity such as medical and plastics, the DAMANI Group acquired VEROLINE ® in 2016. Since the early 90s, this company has specialized in the development and marketing of sensors necessary for the automation of coke oven machines.

VEROLINE ® technology is used all over the world, on many coke plants. Its robustness and integrated technologies have made it one of the benchmarks for coke plant machine automation projects.

VEROLINE ® PI as "P" for POSITIONING and "I" for IDENTIFICATION. This version of the VEROLINE ® PI sensor is fitted to the Charging car, Pusher car, Guide coke car because these machines need precise positioning (+/-3mm) and identification of the ovens. The HEAD®PI  are fixed in front of each ovens. Thus, these machines have reliable and accurate information, without contact, to stop at the exact desired location.

Detian Coking operates 4x65 holes 7.0M large-volume top-charging reheating coke ovens and 2X65 holes 5.5M Stamp-charging coke ovens, with an annual output of 4.7 million tons of coke. The coke quenching adopts low-moisture quenching process and reserves dry quenching position.The coking unit mainly includes coke oven, quenching tower, ground dust removal station, and screening system. The gas purification system includes cold drums, electrostatic precipitators, desulfurization units, sulfur recovery units, ammonium sulfate, benzene washing, and tank areas.
